Hi. My name is Barry Hammer. I am a Senior QA Engineer with a love of building and testing. I'm also someone who is very curious and is always looking to learn new things. That's why I decided to create this website, so I could not only promote myself but also show I can do a lot more than be a great tester. In my spare time, I love watching movies and spending time with my family.

These are some of the projects that I have either used in the past as part of my work, or just a small sample of the kind of fun I like to have in learning new things.
Sample Selenium Document
I created a small sample testing document where I wrote some code in Selenium using Python. This is just a small taste of what I can do with Selenium to automate tests.
Sample Test Document
To go along with the Selenium test, I also am including here a sample test document. This is again a small sample of a Standard Test Document (STD) that I can write.

Miss Moneypenny API
As a little bit of fun (and also because I'm a big movie fan and a James Bond fan), I decided to create an API using the actresses who have played the character Miss Moneypenny in the James Bond films. Check it out here.

2021 - 2022
Built up and maintained the QA Environment for Advance by Gravyty, a project that hosts and supports websites for schools and other intitutions around the world. Besides performing manual testing for UI for desktop and mobile platforms, I also helped with building up their automated testing, using first Selenium and later Cypress.

2018 - 2019
Performed manual testing for OnBoard, a desktop and mobile application used by large media companies such as Bell Media (Canada) and NBC (America).
Key contributions:
- Performed REST API testing using Postman to launch tests.
- Created and maintained numerous SQL queries for backend testing.
- Mentored junior tester on testing the application.

2014 - 2017
Worked as a consultant for Dutch government insitutions. Performed manual and automated testing using Selenium.
